Born and raised in Rizal, Philippines and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology. I was a Laboratory Quality Analyst in a food manufacturing industry, working primarily 12-hour graveyard shifts, six days a week.
It inspired me to work abroad because I am exhausted in my current job, to help my family back home, and to find peace through exploring and travelling.
I was glad to migrate to Canada because of my experience working in a fast food restaurant. I didn't know it would be the same set-up for me - work, go home and rest, and work the next day again. I'm not complaining, though, because Canada is a country of opportunity for hardworking immigrants like us.
Being a laboratory analyst, a produce clerk, a food counter staff, a trainer and a pharmacy assistant. I didn't know what I wanted or what industry I should try and fit in.
One day, a good friend who owns a Filipino store in town asked my wife if they could present a strategy that could help her retire early. Right then and there, we applied for it and signed up.
Greatway was the place we were looking for to discover yourself, grow through experiences, and reach your full potential in a God-centered, family-focused, and serving environment.
