On April 5, 2023, I embraced change and began a fulfilling journey with Greatway Financial, aiming to breathe new life into my career. I had been acquainted with the company since my early years as a nursing student back in 2015. Life's unpredictability can be amusing—once a licensed financial advisor in 2016, I veered off course, losing my license due to a lack of concentration, a dash of immaturity.
A few years down the lane, I found myself serving as a Registered Nurse (RN), a profession as challenging as it is rewarding. The physical demands and exhaustion nudged me to think about my future—the dream of a family, the desire for a balanced life. As an RN, would I find the energy for those precious, fun-filled moments with my family? Pondering over it stirred up a whirlpool of emotions in me.
Fuelled by these reflections, I decided to spring into action. I retread the path of finance, re-enrolled as a student in August 2022, aced my provincial exams come early February 2023, and proudly received my new license by April 2023. This time, I made a personal vow to bring my whole self to the role and champion the pursuit of success.
